How to Tag Photos on Facebook
A tag is an extra kind of link. Once you tag someone, you make a link to their timeline. The post you tag the person in might also be added to that person’s timeline. You are able to tag a photo to point who’s in the photo or post a status update and say who you’re with.
When you tag a friend in your status update, anyone who sees that update able to click on your friend’s name and attend their timeline. Your status update might also appear on your friend’s timeline.
To tag your name or your friends in a photo:
- Select your photo and click on Tag Photo
- Select the person in the photo to tag them. Enter your name or your friend’s name then press Enter
- Click Done Tagging on the photo
When you tag your friend’s in a photo, your friends may also see, like, or comment on the photo. Besides, if you tag a photo that wasn’t uploaded by a friend, the person who uploaded the photo will ask to approve the tag.
